Trustee Crane has been employed at WSP Global for the past 18 years. Prior to his current post, he spent four years as Manager at Nevada Bob's Golf, worked in accounting for three years, and was employed by Alberta Transportation for 12 years.
Education:
Diploma in Business Administration, Red Deer College (Dean's List); Surveyor Technology, SAIT.
Community Involvement:
Winter Games volunteer, Lanny MacDonald Help Line, Chair of the Clairmont Community School Council, and coaching hockey, baseball and golf.
Trustee Vision/Goals:
"My vision is to ensure all schools are socially inclusive and open and progressive with teaching methods; to ensure all students feel safe and secure in the school setting; and to ensure the community has a stake in the success of all students. My goal is to never be complacent with the status quo, but to provide an atmosphere that embraces change and promotes a free exchange of ideas."
