Peace Wapiti Public School Division’s graduation ceremonies begin this Saturday

Peace Wapiti Public School Division’s (PWPSD) graduation ceremonies begin Saturday, May 4 when the Division’s largest grad class of the year crosses the stage.

This weekend, 151 graduates from Peace Wapiti Academy (PWA) will kick off the 2024 graduation season with a formal cap and gown and grand march at the TARA Centre at Evergreen Park. PWA principal Mrs. Wanda Gerard says she is very proud of this year’s graduates. “My heartfelt congratulations are extended to the members of the Class of 2024! Your dedication and perseverance toward accomplishing your academic goals, and your deeply felt school spirit have provided a positive sense of identity and unity in our learning community.” She wishes all graduates success, happiness, and fulfillment as they move forward with their future endeavors.

Superintendent Bob Stewart congratulates all PWPSD’s 2024 graduates on their success to date. “Our graduates have reached a significant milestone; one of many I hope they experience throughout their lives, and on behalf of the PWPSD trustees and staff I commend them on their achievements. It has been rewarding to watch them grow into successful young adults, and we look forward to seeing where their futures take them.”
